PROUD big sister!!!

My little brother and sister, Jack and Maggie are both so talented in athletics, academics and are just great all around kids. I am so proud of them as Jack has been accepted into a congressional internship in Washington, DC this fall and Miss Maggie will be moving to Melbourne, Australia in January for a job. We are SUPER excited for them. They both work their little tails off and the future is so bright for them both. Ahhhh, it just makes me excited for them.

Love you both and this blog post is just a little YOU ROCK post.

And get ready for your big sister to come visit!

Jack opted to attend the University of Kentucky in Lexington instead of coming south to be a DAWG. He got a 4.0 both semesters! Suffice to say I spent a little too much time at the Delta Delta Delta house instead of the library. Jack is so focused and will go far!

Miss Maggie played collegiate soccer and works at Chick-fil-A all the time.
She's such a cutie pie!

She played collegiate soccer at both Lindsey Wilson and Eastern Kentucky University and she played for the premiere, Javanon Socer Club in Louisville, Kentucky. Maggie is an unbelievable athlete.

And on to little Jack.

Jack was the star football player in highschool. He gets his running abilities from ME. :)

And they both love animals because how could you not in our family.

I am so proud of them both for following their dreams. That's what life IS all about! No matter the cost. Go and DO!

All Things July 4th!

July 4th is upon us & it's one of my favorite holidays!

The sun, the burgers + hot dogs, and all the fireworks. This will be the first year that I'm not actually on vacation at the beach celebrating the 4th. I've never actually been in the city to celebrate the 4th. Last year I was in South Carolina at the beach. We are planning on getting lots of pool time in, grilling out and  taking Charlee to the dog park early in the morning to wear his fine little self out. We're headed over to Wieuca to a friend's house for a cookout that evening and fireworks. So that's our plans friends! And I'm officially ready for Thursday to be here.

And don't worry, there will be a follow up post with Charlee's 4th of July attire that I picked up in the Target dollar aisle Is that not the best ever?! I love that dollar aisle.

And I'm leaving you with a picture of Charlee and his best friend, Zeke. These two are the best of friends. They were both pretty worn out at this point! Charlee hit the pool when he got home.

It's a hard life for this little man!
