Throwback Thursday

......cat style! Yes, I'm one of those crazy cat lovers out there. It started young. I have always loved a cat for as long as I can remember. I had a Siamese cat named, "CeCe" growing up and a black solid cat named "Moochie." Not sure why I chose those crazy names. I had a collie growing up as well and you could find me toting my cat around the neighborhood and my collie always next to me.

My Mom and I found some old pictures this weekend and I snapped some photos with my I-phone.

Labor Day Fun in Kentucky!

We traveled up to Kentucky this past weekend to visit my mom and my grandparents. My grandparents live on a huge farm out in the country and Charlee loves going so he can swim, run, chase cows and play with their golden retriever, Hoss. The food is always amazing because my Mamaw is the best cook and I even brought lots of yummy veggies home from the garden and fruit from their orchard. You can't beat those fresh fruits + veggies!

We had a wonderful trip minus the swimming pool being bull dozed in. The pool is older than I am and my grandparents have had problems with it for the last few years and they're getting up into their 70's so keeping it running had proven to be too much. So they bull dozed it in. We were sad but we understood.

This was a "before" shot. It was built in the 70's so it lasted a very long time.

Jack left for Washington, D.C. yesterday morning early with my Mom to get moved into his new condo for his congressional internship with Kentucky senator Mitch McConnell. Some of his roommates are CIA and FBI interns. How cool is that?! I'm such a nerd.

 

Let's just say whenever we go to the farm, Charlee is in heaven!

 

My Papaw stripped the fence and was waiting to paint it. I tried to convince him to let me paint it but he is a bit of a perfectionist so that was not happening.

My Mom and Dad's birthday both fall within the same week and so my Dad's was the 2nd which was yesterday.
