Christmas was great as well. My entire family got me great presents and I think Jeff and I got some great presents for my family in return. Maggie was super excited with her outfit and Jack was thrilled with his new Columbia UGA jacket. The canines were super excited to open their presents as well. Dixie literally began jumping up and down as I began to open hers. Mom got all six dogs candy cane shaped bones, so they were in doggie heaven!! I think the only person upset that all the canines were inside was our cat, Casey. :)
We ate and ate, and Jeff kept saying that he felt like he gained ten pounds while we were home. He probably did, as much food as we were surrounded with. On Sunday we ended up going to Louisville to eat at the Cheesecake Factory, do some shopping, and Mom and I were determined to go see "The Blind Side." When we got there, we realized it was sold out. So Dad and Jeff decided that we needed to go see "Avatar." It was phenomenal!!! Mom, Dad, Jeff and I ended up going to see it and it was in 3-D, which was just wild to say the least. Maggie and Jack decided to go see another movie, but boy did they miss out. The colors, images and technology of the movie were so unique and vivid, that I have to say it's one of the best movies I've seen in quite some time. By the time the movie was over, we came out to snow. Jeff and I were both happy to see snow falling because for me, at least, it really feels like Christmas then.
Poor Maggie has been on crutches since Thanksgiving because of her surgery, but really got around very well. All in all we had a wonderful time during Christmas and I was sad to get home, but very happy to see my felines. Lily and Daisy were SUPER excited to see us and I was happy to know they were in good health when we returned. I took Daisy and Dixie to the vet this morning for their annual check-up and boy was that a large bill, but all my girls are happy which is the most important thing.
Well I've got to get off here and hit the shower as Jeff and I are headed out for NYE, but here are some pictures of our holiday in Kentucky.....

Our Christmas piles on Christmas morning. Mom has done our gifts this way since we were kids and we still love it...

Maggie and Little Dixie, her golden. Little D loves to pose for the camera. She's such a ham!!

Jack and Miss Indy..Such a sweet beagle, we love her dearly. She is 12 this year...

Dixie on Christmas Eve in the dining room of course. She stayed close to Papaw to get some falling scraps. Well all the dogs did, they know the right place!

Jeff and I on Christmas Eve-love him!!

Little Casey--a very happy feline to be inside when the weather was rapidly dropping...

Lady and Dixie...They fought constantly over their toys..It was quite funny! Little D was probably very happy to see us go.

All three dogs on Christmas morning after we ate our waffles. They were so sleepy and happy together...

Dixie was getting tired of being photographed...Love my golden though! She had the best time at her Grammy's and enjoyed seeing everyone!!

Maggie trying to open up Little D & Big D's toys...Can you see how excited Dixie was? She could barely contain herself.

Little Maggs on her computer....
