The Girls
Here are some pictures Melissa took of the girls on Friday afternoon. Dixie of course hates costumes & refuses to wear any. Look how cute Libby Lou is though in her Princess Aurora costume (I think she's from Sleeping Beauty). So funny!

Eventful Weekend & Howl-O-Ween
This weekend was so eventful to say the least. I don't even know where to start. On Friday afternoon I got home around lunch & immediately a horrible stench flooded my senses as soon as I opened the door. Poor Dixie had ate something that did not agree with her digestive system. It was awful, I know she could not help it & I immediately began opening up my windows in my den & reaching for the Resolve under my sink. She is such a great dog in so many ways, one being that she never has accidents, but when she does it's just vile. I know she can't help it, but it is still so yucky!
And, little Daisy was standing right at the door looking up meowing constantly to say, "Look what Dixie's done." Daisy never fails to humor me, she is such a cutie pie & a huge tattle tail. The cat talks all the time especially when somethings happened that she feels an urgent need to tell me. It is hilarious!
One of my girlfriends, Melissa & her pooch, Libby Lou, came over right about the time I got done cleaning so we could take the girls to Chastain Park. Chastain Park is a great park here in Atlanta & has so many beautiful homes surrounding the park & golf course. It was so nice to go on a week day because it is usually so packed but we pretty much had the park to ourselves. The girls enjoyed running around & playing off leash. This is one area where I feel so bad for Dixie. I know that I am giving her a very loving home & she gets plenty of exercise, but I know sometimes she wishes she could be a normal dog not couped up in an apartment in the city. I know this will come sometime in the future way down the road, especially since my life is already heading in a different direction, career wise, per say, but that's a whole other story.
That night, we went to a big Costume Ball & it was just fabulous. I will post pictures later, I don't have my camera on me. I dressed up as a cat (how fitting, huh?) for Halloween & my costume was great if I do say so myself!
I will post pictures soon, Have a great day!
