It is snowing today here in the city. So exciting!! We came out of church this morning around noon to immediately see the snow falling here in Buckhead. As soon as I got home and changed, I took Miss Dixie out in it. She love love loves the snow! She immediatey began prancing around like a horse and then galloping around as well. What a snow dog!
Lily and Daisy are both sitting in the huge window in my den enjoying the snow because they've never seen it before and I just thought I'd post some pictures of the girls. We are watching the Louisville game right now because Kentucky stinks and got beat by LSU yesterday. How ridiculous is that? Maggie is going to UofL next year, so at least we have some reason to cheer for them now. Happy Birthday little Maggie! It's hard to believe my little sister is 18 today. My camera will not upload onto my laptop, so no pictures for a while....

Fabulous Friends
Well, what a week it has been for me here lately. Last Friday, I lost my job and of course it was right before the weekend began. Lovely, right? I have the most fabulous friends and family though let me say first off. The weekend flew by and I was with all of my girlfriends all weekend long. On Sunday night we went to a great Super Bowl party and had lots of yummy food and drinks!
Melissa invited Miss Dixie and I over yesterday for a lunch date at her house and we had a blast. Libby Lou and Miss Dixie enjoyed seeing each other and playing together. Thanks Melissa, you are the best!
My sweet friend from home, Kim, sent me this devotional this morning that reads from 1 Peter:
"So be truly glad. There is a wonderful joy ahead, even though you may have to endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold..."
Thank you to Dad, Mom, Nana, Aunt Ann and all my wonderful friends (in Atlanta and everywhere else) that have been so wonderful. I definitely will be just fine!
